Spanish King Felipe VI held a grand welcome ceremony for visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday.
Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan were received by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia at the Royal Palace of Madrid.
Accompanied by King Felipe VI, Xi reviewed the guard of honor.
Accompanied by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, Xi and Peng then watched a march-past.
Xi arrived in Spain on Tuesday for a state visit to consolidate traditional friendship and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
