The Commanding Shepherds were one of Baltimore's most prolific groups, with three albums on Pinewood and four singles (two on Pinewood, one each on Fink and Job's). This was their final album. This track has an an inspired lead vocal from Jeffrey Fleming.

I've recently decided to incorporate as much biographical information as I can track down about the groups whose records I post, and I'm going back through former posts as time permits to add as much information as possible. Names and biographies of group members, other groups that they played in, dates of releases, home cities of groups, information about labels - really anything is useful. The men and women who gave glory with this great music deserve to be remembered better.
