Two moving cars were trapped in a heavy snowfall that swept through north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Thursday morning.
After receiving a call for help, the local fire brigade immediately sent a search and rescue team to the scene. But since the snowfall was too heavy, the rescuers had to walk to the scene with their equipment on, though they were just one kilometers away from the trapped cars.
Later, officers with the fire brigade contacted the local traffic police, who sent two bulldozers to help in the rescue. The two cars were eventually freed at about
19:00.
